Hi, we have just booked to stay at the Movenpick Dream Castle and I was wondering about choice of places to eat.
We are on a reasonable budget and I wanted to know if the food quality %26amp; value was better at the park or at the hotel. Can anyone help?
Does anyone have nay other tips, such as bus times to avoid etc.

disney village is very busy and expensive if you go one stop on the train there is a big shopping centre with restaurants and a hypermarket call val europe. i would advise you to stock up on coke etc there because disneyland is dear.

Hi there madted...I totally agree with the other post. It is expensive at the resort and in disney village. It costed us about 25 pounds for four of us to have one course and a drink in Toad hall at the resort. Planet Hollywood is a good one time experience but over-priced for what it is. Costed us 75 pounds for four of us to have a main course, drinks (non alcoholic) and 2 portions of icecream.
Another tip is when you have breakfast at your hotel, stock up on some rolls from the buffet and take them and some yogurts to eat at midday. that way you only need to buy one meal a day. Busiest times at the restaurants etc is between 12 and 2. We always ate after 2 coz the rush was generally over then.
Have a fab time! Myself and my family love it at disney!

I would say (depending on hotel you are at) that quality is roughly the same. I%26#39;ve stayed at the New york Hotel and the quality of the food there was superb and exceeded even the best eatery at the resort.

Hi - agreed with the other posts but would recommend having a meal at the Rainforest Cafe in Disney Village because not only is it great fun but they give you a voucher for 20% off King Ludwig%26#39;s restaurant. Also a fun place to eat and with your voucher it%26#39;s very reasonable especially if you have %26#39;Ludwig%26#39;s menu%26#39; which is a bit cheaper, and they still let you have 20% off. Don%26#39;t eat at the Movenpick - it might be fabulous but it%26#39;s a fabulous price! (also would warn you about the bar at the Movenpick - we had 2 coffees and an orange juice and it came to about 8 sterling!!!!!)

Hi, I agree about the village being expensive. However if you dont want to leave the Disney area I would recomend Steak House. It is expensive but you will eat a nice meal. Also I enjoyed eating at the hotels more than I did at the parks. You could survive on one meal a day plus breakfast that is paid for. Take some of the breakfast with you at the parks for snacks during the day. That is what we did. That way you only pay for dinner. Another innexpensive option is McDonalds. I didnt use it but its prices cant be different from the rest of the world I would imagine! We also ate at Annetes Dinner. Not Very cheap but not as expensive as other places in Disney Village.
