Planning on taking an overnight train and wondering if I should book in advance or wait until I get to Paris. Recommendations?

I think you%26#39;ll probably have to change somewhere won%26#39;t you ? In any case it depands on the time of year you%26#39;re hoping to travel, how many you are and how long you have in Paris before you want to leave.
If there are more than two of you and you are travelling between early July and early September I%26#39;d book in advance.

Trains are almost always cheaper is you book in advance.

There are plenty of discount airlines that run from Paris to Florence/Milan. That will be the fastest way and may even be your cheapest option.
Either way, it is genrally cheaper to book in advance.
