So what would be appropriate for a balding American man to wear on his head to keep it from getting burned? He will be wearing a nice pair of microfiber slacks, collared shirt, and dark shoes (comfortable, but not tennis). We are proud to be Americans, but don%26#39;t want to offend the Parisans or their fashion sense too much.

My hubby dress like your and have the same lack of hair ,he wear a panama. He is 48 so with sunglasses and his hat he look quite chic and appropriate.

Dare I suggest a really heavy sunscreen? That would work well and not be noticeable to anybody. Otherwise a Panama would work, although that%26#39;s not a style that everyone can pull off.

Thats is right Truffaut, maybe he should practice at home first.

Aha, you%26#39;re male, PharmDoc! Well, then definitely don%26#39;t dye your hair. Yuck.
I%26#39;d wear a nice Panama. There are those foldable ones. Not cheap though. But classy they are, non?

Pink berets with maribou trim are a classic among TAers.. but for the real world, hats are fine. I keep hearing that men here don%26#39;t wear hats, and while that is true for the majority, many still do and they in no way cause a stir.
My husband bought his wool felt wide brim hat at our local organics market, just as the King of Cambodia%26#39;s cousin showed up demanding the hat for himself...tough lesson for him that his cousin%26#39;s arm has a very short reach.

ha ha ha ha ha is this a wind up?

What about those hats I see in movies with the french foreign legion in algeria? They have cloth in the back that comes down and covers the neck.
Tres chic!
Since you%26#39;re from colorado what%26#39;s wrong with a Bronco%26#39;s or Coor%26#39;s hat? For all anyone knows they could be in fashion next fall.
