My daughter and her friend will be in Paris in June. I would love some suggestions for a clean, safe 2 star hotel , maybe on the left bank. Rate range between 100E-120E, if possible. Also, is it necessary to have A/C in June?

Try Hotel du Lys**, on Rue Serpente, 6th arr.
Room for two is 115E, breakfast and taxes incl.
No A/C though. You%26#39;ll find it pretty hard to find a hotel with A/C in your price range. Not even all ***places have it.

One of the few ** that has A/C is the Bonaparte, Rue Bonaparte, 6th arr. But it%26#39;s more expensive and over 120E for a double without breakfast. No web page.
Tel. 01 43 26 97 37, Fax 01 46 33 57 67
Whether you%26#39;ll need A/C in June? Hm.. no idea, if it should be hot, maybe yes. But, no guarantee it WILL be really hot. Every year is slightly different. ;)

Hotel du College de France in between Blvd St Germain and Rue des Ecoles in Latin Quarter. I stayed last month and thought it was great. Read my review.

Hotel de Nevers, rue du Bac is a great, safe option for young women on their own.

Try to look at Hotel Rive Gauche, a nice and clean 2 star hotel. The area is safe, it is the area of Saint Germain des Pres, very nice area. Staff is also smiling and helpful.

Air conditioning is not always necessary is July..;it depends....But it is generally feasible without!
