We%26#39;ll be staying the the 5th arr. and would like to visit family-friendly restaurants or brasseries frequented by locals in the know. In other words, we don%26#39;t want to be limited to just the ones that cater to tourists. We don%26#39;t mind going a distance to experience good food and a good local vibe.

IMHO, as long as you avoid the places which have people standing on the doorstep, coaxing tourists inside, you%26#39;ll be fine. The question isn%26#39;t all that easy to answer but searching for %26quot;family-friendly restaurants%26quot; will give you some ideas I hope.

Le Vin Sobre, off the rue St Jacques, near Val de Grace is a family friendly local joint that I enjoy from time to time.
