WE are taking an overnight tour from London to Paris. Can anyone recommend a clean, reasonable priced hotel- central area? Advice would be much appreciated by this Canadian.
Thanks,Phyllis

whats your budget? the higher it is the nicer the place you can get.
%26quot;reasonable%26quot; is a matter of opinion.. but.... if you are looking for something around 80-100 euros then check out Hotel Des Mines. It has a nice location and is great value for money. i stayed there last week.
I wrote a big detailed review of it and submitted it.. but apparantly it takes up to a few days for it to appear sometimes.. so be on the lookout for that if you are interested.

I used Priceline. Got a 4 star hotel for $94.00 Euros a night or $121 US

FYI windyapu - Canadians don%26#39;t have access to Priceline. I tried once, and it absolutely requires a US address. Even then... I had a US addy to use (my parent%26#39;s ID cabin), but because it didn%26#39;t match the billing address on my credit card, I was snookered.
Phyllis, call a travel agent. I have booked mine through Holiday House (they can only be booked through a travel agent), and I got one in the 9th half way between Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur for $109 CAD a night (single rate - late Septemeber).

I used Venere.com to book all my hotels. I%26#39;m travelling in May with a girl friend. So safety, location, cleaness and onsuite bathroom are the must have. Venere has a lot of options and user reviews. We also used the reviews on this website as well. Have a good trip!

Hi - I stayed in the Libertel Maxim in the Latin Quarter, for 75 Euros per night, twin share. I wrote a review that%26#39;s posted now, so check that out. It was ten minutes by metro to the centre.
