Have a good time! Unfortunately, I would be a little (5 weeks) late getting there. We all will look forward to your report!

QuelleBelle, if you going to be in the area of L%26#39;Amnesia and are looking for an inexpensive but good place for dinner, try Le Petit Piccard on rue St-Croix de la Bretonnerie just west of rue des Archives. We always go there. The food is simple, but quite tasty. I%26#39;d recommend the carre d%26#39;agneau, le salade au chevre, la tarte aux carrottes et St. Marcellin, les bulots au mayonnaise, l%26#39;ile flottante, and les profitteroles. Madame, the one with the perpetual smile, is a delight, and watching the little Asian guy slide across the floor at top speed is always amusing. It opens around 7:30 and is completely full of locals by 8.

Also, we like L%26#39;Arganier on the same street, but east of rue des Archives. It%26#39;s Moroccan and we often share a couscous royale. They have belly dancers in the evening and that%26#39;s kind of fun. If you go there, try one of the Algerian wines.

Neither of these are the kind of places that you%26#39;d rave about back home, but they are tasty, friendly, and good value.

Merci beaucoups Truffaut!

Those sound like great places!! Will I do OK with my limited French? Speaking of....I%26#39;m off to my last French class before I leave!

Bon voyage Quelle Belle. Here is the address of my favorite Italian in Paris it is called Tratttoria Oca Nera at 35 rue Bergere, in the 9eme, I eated better there than in Italy.

Also do not miss the plateau de fromages at Chez Astier, 44 rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud in the 11eme, not for the decor but for the real simple but of so good homey food, the cave of wine is really large for a resto of that size. That is close to Oberkamf metro go for a walk there is it the happening place. There is nothing like your first time, it will stay with you forever. Bon voyage et a bientot.

QuelleBelle, don%26#39;t forget an umbrella, the weather forecast shows many clouds and rain on sunday.

Don%26#39;t forget to put a report here!

Have a great time KelBel =)

remember not to rush things.. even though theres alot to see its better to sacrifice seeing 1 or two things so you can enjoy the others properly rather than cram it all in.

my trip was fine but if i were to redo it i would have sacrificed seeing a couple of museums and spent more time in gardens and cafe%26#39;s

anyway, take care have fun .. look forward to hearing from you when you get back
