Latin Quarter

I was on here yesterday and read a topic about some restaurant or club in the Latin Quarter that had someone playing the piano and another person said they had a singer....Can anyone tell me what the name of this place is? I want to write the name down so I can go there when I go to Paris in October. Thanks.

Could it have been a club/cabaret called Aux Trois Mailletz? If so, it%26#39;s on the rue Galande, if memory serves, about 5 minutes walk from the Place St.-Michel or Notre Dame.

Piano bar upstairs, jazz/cabaret downstairs Great place for a night out, especially if you don%26#39;t mind walking home with the dawn chorus...

Ah, the memories...

I%26#39;m not sure what the name of the place is. All I know is that someone on this forum was talking about their trip and how they were walking around the area (Latin Quarter) and heard some guy playing the piano and they got seated next to the pianist and was asking them to play this or that and that the food was good. Another person replied that they went there too and they had some woman singing there that night...so the entertainment varies. If this rings a bell to anyone...plese let me know. Are there places like this all over the Latin Quarter? I%26#39;ve never been to Paris and will be going in Oct for my honeymoon.

I guess next time I read something I will make sure to write the name of the place down before moving on to the next tip.... ;)

I just tried a search using %26quot;piano%26quot; and %26quot;pianist%26quot; and came up dry. But from what you remember I%26#39;d bet on the Trois Mailletz. Give it a try and let us know if you liked it as much as I do.

I guess I will just go check out Aux Trois Mailletz for myself and find out. Thanks for your help.

I could have read the topic somewhere else too...I%26#39;ve been planning my trip since March and I have until October before I go...so my mind is on overload right now... It%26#39;s fun though...I can%26#39;t wait to go.

That would be Les Trois Maillets with a s not a z. Located on Rue Galant in the 5eme.
