Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel, or know anything about it. I will be visiting Paris for the first time in September, and would like to know more. Is is centrally located? I plan on doing a lot of walking to the major sites/attractions.

Bienvenue Heather, I would not qualified that hotel as centrally located it is the 12 arrondissement. If you want to walk you are about 1 hour from Le Louvre. There are a lot of 2 stars hotels much closer to the center.
That said, Paris have a great metro, easy to used and there is a stop nearby at La Bastille. For a first trip you might enjoyed yourself more is you pick a more central location. Look for a hotel in the 1 to 8 arrondissements, you are doing the smart thing by starting early enough.

Bojour Heather,
Have stayed there, although 6 years ago maybe. Our room was small and on the busy street but with double windows so the noise was not too bad. It was just fine and good for the price. They also have airconditioning, but I doubt if you will need it in Sept.
There are many buses along avenue de Lyon area and just a short ride to major sites, plus easy to get over to Montparnasse area. And it is almost on the Seine so you dont have a huge walk to the left bank if you want to walk. The Bastille area and the Marias are not that far either. It is only a couple of blocks from the 4th which so many people like. It is not right in the center of the %26quot;big tourists%26quot; area but a neat area in itself. Movie right there, many restaurants, bistros, cafes, boulangies, little super markets...whatever....It is very %26quot;French%26quot; and a rather busy area because of the gare. You can also take an Air France bus from the airport directly to the gare and you will be just a couple of short blocks from the hotel.
Bonne chance,
Bea
