Weekend Apartments in Paris

Six of us are visiting Paris for a weekend, maybe in June, and we%26#39;re wondering if it would be more cost effective to book an apartment rather than a hotel. We%26#39;d want something central and it must be clean. Any ideas?

As an apartment owner, I%26#39;d suggest that you might have trouble finding an apartment for just a weekend. It%26#39;s really not economically convenient for an owner to rent for just 2 days.

Try the citadine apartments at various locations in paris - you cna book those by the day and it is a bit like an hotel as has reception etc. I am going to Paris in June and originally considered getting an apartment and getting for short stay didn%26#39;t seem to be a problem.

an excellent website is www.homelidays.com

Perhaps you can keep an eye out for somebody with a timeshare who%26#39;s willing to sublet.

Maybe even getting an apartment for a whole week and only actually being there for a weekend might be cost effective.

Check craigslist.org Paris apartments...

There may be some options there.

Hello Cakes

The Golden Tulip St Honore (Modern hotel with spa near Arc de Triomphe) has a 2 bed apartment at 268 GBP per night in June. Sounds a lot but divided between 6 is not so bad for the facilities. I%26#39;d try and go for 3 nights if you can!

Description of the 2 bed apartment

Two king beds or four twin beds in two bedrooms. Double sofa bed in separate living room. Individually decorated. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Rose-marble bathroom with bathrobes, makeup mirror, separate toilet room, bidet, shower/bathtub combination. Kitchenette with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave. Some suites with balcony or terrace. Minibar, dial-up Internet access (surcharge).

Doing an internet search for it might find you a cheaper rate.
