Me and 7 of my friends are all 21, and are hoping to go on a holiday to the Cote d%26#39;Azur. We are planning on flying to Nice and then using public transport to travel all the way along the coast. We are taking tents, so plan to stay in camp sites.
If anyone has any ideas on cheap camp sites, or any ideas on the best public transport to use where we can take our lugage onboard, it would be most appreciated. Also, any recomended places to go and visit would be very helpful. Thanks

We took a little tent and flew to Nice last year and we%26#39;re gonna do it again this year for the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix. My partner is more than twice your age and I%26#39;m nearly 3 times older than you. We loved it. We travel loads - all over Western Europe staying mostly in apartments - but camping was the best time we had. We stayed at a great Campsite near Nice, Camping Parc Maurettes, at Villeneuve Loubet. It%26#39;s approx. 300metres from the beach. The rail station is on the beach! The trains are fantastic and not expensive (sometimes cheaper than the bus). You can get all the way from Ventimiglia in Italy thru Monaco, Nice, Juan Les Pins, Antibes, Cannes, St. Raphael (St. Tropez, Frejus) right the way to Marseilles and beyond. Check out ter-sncf.com for timetables. One unmissable trip aside from the obvious, is to take the %26#39;Little Train%26#39; up into The Alps from the old Railway Station on Rue Alfred Binet in Nice (not the sncf station!). Go to the Colline du Chateau- a great park in Nice to explore. It%26#39;s up on a hill and free- it also overlooks the Nice harbor and the entire city. It%26#39;s at the end of the promenade des anglais.
