I will be traveling to Paris April 14-April 20 with my 14 and 15 year olds. I am looking for a hotel near a metro, safe at night, in a nice area or neighborhood, with a lift (elevator) with rooms that can accommodate 3 adult size people en suite (with shower and toilet). Nearer to attractions than night life areas would be preferred. Has anyone tried apartments or studio%26#39;s when staying in Paris? Any advise for a 6day stay in Paris. We do not plan on going outside of Paris. I am putting this trip together in short order as we leave in less than 2 weeks! Thanks to all in advance.

Hi Doreen-
I live in the 7th- near the Eiffel Tower and there is a great market street in the arrodissement called rue Cler. It has several outdoor cafes, any number of fruit, fish, cheese, chicken or meat vendors. ...and is just great for the food experience. You can literally shop for outrageous food on the street, take it to the Eiffel Tower park (Champs de Mars) and have a pretty cool lunch or dinner picnic.... The metro is very close- but that%26#39;s true in a lot of places.
There is a budget hotel right on rue cler called Grand Hotel Leveque....not fancy, but not too bad according to some guests who have stayed there. You may want to check it out since the street is central, very cute and great for families.

I travel with 2 children (currently 10 and 12 yrs) and have stayed in apartments in Paris, in fact wherever we go we usually stay in apartments. We were there as a family last May and are going again next month. Personally I prefer the space and facilities an apartment or studio gives us.
Citadines have numerous apart%26#39;hotels around the city. I personally love the Marias area, and there is a Citadines there, although I%26#39;ve not stayed in it.

and if you find one you like you can also search for that one to see some price comparisons online.
I also have numerous holiday apartments in Paris sites bookmarked which I can post if you would like?
