We are a couple with our nine year old son traveling to Paris this summer and wondering about Musuem Pass. I understand that it might be a good idea, especially getting to the front of the line, but do we buy one for our son or is it a waste of money as he is already free to Louvre and Muse D%26#39;orsay. If we do not but him one do we have to wait in line if it is a place where he does have to pay?

A 9 year old will get into almost everything covered by the Carte Musee et Monuments for free.

I guess it would be better to buy two for the adults and not buy one for my son. Where is the best place to buy one

At the ticket window of almost any Metro station (the same place you will purchase Metro passes, tickets), Tourist Information kiosks, any participating museuem when you arrive.
When you purchase a CARTE MUSEE et MONUMENTS pass bear in mind that it is valid for CONSECUTIVE calandar days. So make sure that you DO NOT enter a date onto the pass until your FIRST DAY of use. As an example, if you purchased the pass on a Monday and dated for that da... but did not use it until the next day, Tuesday; you will have WASTED one full day of valid useage.
