Honeymooning in Paris..Need info..

Hi..

I%26#39;ll be traveling to Paris in October for my honeymoon. I have done some research online about things to do and best location to stay. But, any help from experienced Paris travelers would be appreciated. We are looking to stay in the Opera district, since so much is central. Can anyone recommend good hotels there with AC..we%26#39;ve looked into Hotel Opal, Sydney Opera, Londres Et New York, Queen Mary..any info??

Also we%26#39;ve been recommended to take the L%26#39;opentour, is it the best way to see the sights?

And I would like some good restaurants to go to in the area or an area not too far from there??

Any help is super appreciated...

Thanks so much...

Will depend a great deal on your age, your likes and your expectations.

The closer you stay to the Seine (regardless of which side) the closer you are to the main attractions first time visitors go and see.

If you want to post just some basics I will feell free to give my suggestions.

We are in our late twenties...

And we want to see as much as we can in 3 days...if you could give your recommendations on hotels in that area, and restaurants, that would be great..

Thanks!

Some hints

-Try and grab a hotel in the 5th or the 6th, you will probably enjoy that area the most.

-Grab a 10 pack of metro tickets and do not be shy to use it.

-Make a plan, one sight in the morning, one in the afternoon/evening. Do not try and pack more into your day or you will just wear yourself out and it will be less enjoyable. Paris will always be here to come back and visit.

-October starts to get a bit cooler, but one night you might want to do a bateau tour. Nice way to see the city at night and quite peaceful

-Sights I%26#39;d see in 3 days if it was my first time: Eiffel, Arc, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Musee D%26#39;Orsee, Louvre. That is 6 right there, but on an early morning you can do eiffel and arc as they are not too far away from each other and a lovely walk.

-Restaurants will depend on where you stay. I can recommend lots from inexpensive to very expensive. From tradional french to Moroccan. I am sure if you are looking for advice you can get lots.

Respond to this and I will answer anymore questions you may have.

Have a look at the Hotel Malte Opera, a 3 star hotel near Opera...Opera is anice area to stay...

The hotel has a nice decoration, typical french stylme hotel, the hotel is very clean and the staff very professional and smiling.

I stayed there once for business and really enjoy the area..There a re a lot of restaurants, bars..and so on. If you like it, there are also an important number of Japanese restaurants.

You can see the hotel I%26#39;m talking at http://www.malteopera.com

Have a nice honeymoon!!!
