Hello
My husband %26amp; I want to take our 3 year old to the Dordogne in early July. We would welcome any advice or feedback about Eurocamp, Canvas Holidays or KeyCamp.
Also, has anyone has heard anything about Les Haut des Ratebouts campsite near Belves or Les Palombieres campsite near Sarlat? It%26#39;ll be our first holiday abroad with our son and our first trip to this kind of campsite so we%26#39;d be interested to hear what they are like.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi Sarah
We have been holidaying in the Dordogne for several years now. My children are teenagers, but we have been taking them to France since they were babies.
We are about to make our 3rd trip to le Bugue, this time through Keycamp, though we have used Eurocamp before. Both are fine.
We usually go in June, I understand that it gets busier in July, but it is a superb site, nestling in the countryside, just outside a small town (name escapes me at moment!), but you do need a car to get anywhere. Thre%26#39;s a great children%26#39;s club on the site, and the reps have always been helpful and friendly. There are 4 swimming pools, including fun slides, an inside pool with a shallow end, great for little ones, and a lazy river. There%26#39;s a good bar/terrace next to the pool that sells good food- in fact on Sundays, the place is taken up by French locals who dine here. If you are camping, the facilittes are good, most of the campsites are under the shade of the trees, looking onto the fields.
Hope that this is useful for you. Enjoy yourselves,a nd get in touch if you want any more info
Best wishes
Jacqui Murray
