Paris Weather

I keep looking at the weather.com and it really doesn%26#39;t seem to be warming up in Paris. I%26#39;ll be visiting end of May. Everyone pray for nice weather!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I shouldn%26#39;t bring skirts and sandals? Or even capri%26#39;s. Bummer

Boy, you California people are freaky about the weather!! ~grin~ Things can change very quickly, and likely will do so. I%26#39;ve been to Paris at the end of May, and it%26#39;s t-shirt, skirts, sandals, capris, and anything else summery that you can think of. So don%26#39;t fret....it will get warmer.

On the other hand, I%26#39;m leaving in 9 days and I hope that it doesn%26#39;t get above 70. I like things a little crisp. It%26#39;s called Spring....and it%26#39;s never around long enough!!!

It seems like last week I was walking around thinking that I had 62 days to go. It%26#39;s like the month of March didn%26#39;t even exist this year. I%26#39;m so excited, you%26#39;d think it was my first time! And I%26#39;ll be sure to report everything....especially the shopping, %26#39;cause I love to shop, and I plan on doing that alot!!!

I can%26#39;t afford them, but I just want to walk into the Christian Louboutin store and just admire. I wonder if they will let me try a pair on just for fun. I%26#39;m thinking.....no.

(but it never hurts to ask.....I%26#39;ll never see those people again!)

I%26#39;m in Paris right now and the weather is very similar to San Francisco. Our first two days were warm....light sweater that I took off at some points with only a short sleeved shirt. Today we had sprinkles with a few intermitent down pours. Still nice temperature though. It really does remind me of Northern California weather. Pack to dress in layers.

When will you be in Paris. I will be there for two weeks starting May 14th. I am wishing for capri pants weather too!

I will also be in Paris from May 10-19th. I will be going solo-1st time out of the US solo- and I am afraid I will miss the %26quot;company%26quot; of americans. Anyone care to meet up at some point for some dinner or sightseeing?

RPL67 - I couldn%26#39;t help but notice you%26#39;re address of Poughkeepsie, NY - I was born and raised there but am now living in Northern California! I miss Poughkeepsie!! Went to Spackenkill High School...By the way, I%26#39;ll be in Paris 5/21 - 5/28 so we%26#39;ll just miss each other - would%26#39;ve been fun to meet up...have fun!

That is tooooo funny- I live about 4 minutes from Spackenkill HS- and even funnier I lived in Walnut Creek CA for about 2 years. I missed home, so I moved back- plus it was way too expensive out there. I am so dissappointed that we will miss each other- would have been fun to have that in common. 1st time to Paris- going solo? Where are you staying?

Am posting this from the Damrak in Amsterdam, and it%26#39;s %26quot;dam%26quot; cold! I%26#39;m glad I took all of your advice about wearing layers - it sure helps. This reminds me of New York City - very windy %26quot;canyons%26quot; (cross streets) but very beautiful. I leave for Paris Saturday and am hoping it will be a little warmer. But no matter what, I KNOW I%26#39;ll love Paris - can%26#39;t wait to discover her. A bientot!
