Almost impossible

I need a clean, safe, decent hotel for 65 euro or less. I keep finding hotels in the redlight district and to be honest I really don%26#39;t want to stay there. I also would like to have our own bathroom and not a community one. Can anyone help?

Check the prices on these...

you can find decent/clean/safe inexpensive rooms within Paris. Here are a couple:

Hotel de Blois (http://www.hoteldeblois.com/) in the 14th,

in a very nice real Parisian neighborhood. The metro/bus/RER connections are very good, plenty of local eating places, many shops, street market (rue Daguerre), etc. The room rates range from 42-76Euro depending on #beds and whether you want an en-suite.

Hotel Port Royal, 8 boulevard du Port Royal, tel 0143317006, fax 0143313367 in the 5th near Jardin de Luxembourg. Rates range from 37-87Euro, again based on #beds and ensuite (or not). I don%26#39;t think they have a website but you can see some pix on this guy%26#39;s report:

Hotel Marignan (www.hotel-marignan.com/) in the 5th. I can%26#39;t access this website at work b/c it is a personal wanadoo account, but you can check it out. The address is:

13, rue du Sommerard - there are other hotels with names that incorporate %26quot;Marignan%26quot; so be sure you are dealing with this particular one.

On Tripadvisor:

Hotel de Blois is not reviewed but you can find comments in the Fodors msg board. Port Royal has good comments here; Marignan is under %26quot;Ile de France%26quot; rather than %26quot;Paris%26quot;.
