Air france bus or Roissy bus?

Hi,

My final destination from CDG is rue de vertbois (metro: Arts et metier). I know i can take the Roissy bus to the Opera and then metro or local bus 20 or Airfrance bus to Gare de lyon and bus 20 onwards. What i want to know is which route will be a more pleasent journey for a first timer?

Thanks in advance

Don%26#39;t know about the Air Franc bus but I am a big fan of the Roissy bus to the Opera. We are taking that and then the metro (about a block away) to our hotel in the 7th next week. It%26#39;s 8.20E (maybe 8.30?).

If you want to take public transportation all the way then the RIOSSYBUS to its terminus at the intersection of rue Scribe (out in front of the AMEX office) and rue Auber will probably be your best best. Walk from the stop to the OPERA Metro station and take the #3 Metro ligne (in the direction of Gallieni) to the ARTS et METIER station (5 stops,-5-7 mins). If the HOTEL TURBIGO is your destination then it will be approx. 3 -4 blocks north of the station at 19 rue du Vertbois.

An alternative is to take the RER B-3 train from CDG to Gare du Nord, then switch to the #5 Metro ligne to REPUBLIQUE and then switch to the #3 or #11 ligne to Arte et Metier of the #4 Metro ligne from Gare du Nord to intersect the #3 at REAUMUR-SEBASTOPOL and then switch to the #3. Onward metro travel is included in the 8 Euro price of the RER B fare. If you take the ROISSYBUS you will have to purchase a separate Metro ticket or transportation pass at OPERA. IF the weather its good, the Roissybus/Metro option works relatively smoothly. If the weather is lousy, the RER B-3/Metro option may work better. It%26#39;s good to have options.
