I%26#39;ll be arriving in Paris on 4/28 and leaving on 5/06. Can anyone tell me if any football action will be happening? I%26#39;m pretty sure PSG%26#39;s season will be finished by then, but I was wondering what other matches might be going on at Stade de France, Parc des Princes or any other venue?

They will still be playing check out www.psg.fr.

Thanks for the reply. I%26#39;ve browsed PSG%26#39;s site already and according to my broken French, it doesn%26#39;t appear as though PSG will have a match while I%26#39;m in Paris. I was just wondering if any other football might be going on.

Unlikely I%26#39;d say. PSG are the only team Parisian in the top league. Creteil may be playing (just outside of Paris) during those dates but it%26#39;s probably not the greatest football youre likely to see :)

Maybe I%26#39;ll get lucky and Les Blues will be playing a friendly or something.

14/05/2005 Sochaux
28/05/2005 Rennes
Both at Parc des Princes
Have you thought about rugby, Stade Francais play next door to the PDP?

rugby definitely interests me. My first choice would have been to catch some world class football, but rugby would be a nice option. How are the crowds? As spirited as a PSG home match? I%26#39;ve seen some PSG matches on TV here in the States and it looks downright nuts at times.
Thanks

The rugby doesn%26#39;t get quite as crazy as the football. And you quickly spot the lack of police at the rugby games !
The rugby is normally held in the stadium next door but tomorrow I%26#39;m off to see Stade Francaise play Newcastle in the European Cup. Depending on how they play will determine if they%26#39;ll still be playing by the time you make it to Paris :)
