Just for your info, if you will be in Paris on Sunday, they are running the marathon in the morning.

Thanks for the tip off. This is incredible. My wife and I went to Rome with friends of ours two years running (sorry for the pun!) and each time unwittingly ended up there for the Rome marathon weekend.
This year for a change we decided to go to Paris, and again until I logged onto tripadvisor this afternoon, we had no idea it was marathon weekend in Paris!
I wouldn%26#39;t mind, but none of us are runners or interested in running!
Has anyone got a calender of large city marathons for 2006?
