Has anyone taking either tour? I thought it might be fun to do on the first day to get a feel for the city. The segway tour seem to take less energy but the bike tours look fun too!

Thank you! and I just checked the search function and noticed it has been brought up already. Sorry! Although, no one seem to have been on the tour on that thread? The segway one looks really fun and I%26#39;ve never been on one. The bike one looks good as well but the group seems much larger and I%26#39;m not a very experienced bike rider. I prefer beach cruisers.
Their office seem very amply stocked and full of helpful services and people! Are they fairly easy to find?

my 55 year old female boss and her family took the segway tour last summer and said it was the highlight of her trip to paris. she says they are easy to controll and she felt very safe and loved the tour guide.

I%26#39;ve done the Segway tour. They are really fun and a great way to cover a long distance. You are taught how to drive them in a short time and then you are off. You feel rather like a movie star and whenever you stop you will be surrounded by people wanting to know what they are. I believe you can rent them by email although I reserved mine by phone in Paris. They go very quickly so reserve one as soon as you arrive in Paris. The shop is near the Eiffel Tower and they meet those renting them underneath the tower and take you to the shop. There is a weight limit-you can%26#39;t be too light or too heavy, so children are often too light to use them. The Segway tours stay within the area of the Eiffel Tower so that is the only area they tour. I found it strange that my feet and legs were killing me at the end of the tour from just standing on the little platform during the tour. As one man said to me, %26quot;This is the coolest thing I have ever done!%26quot;
