Eurostar

I%26#39;d like to take the Eurostar from London to Paris in July but when I checked their website to book for third week in July, I saw that the schedule only goes to July 16th; the ES will be running pass that date I hope. I want to stay at the Hotel de Varenne, but can%26#39;t make room reservation until I know that I reserve a seat on the train. Does anyone know when the new schedule might be put on their website? Thanks.

Clarissa,

I beleive you can not make reservations on Eurostar earlier than 90 days prior to your trip. The same thing happened to me. By April 16 you should be able to make your reservations, however, it will not hurt to try again in a few days.

Good luck.

Dear Clarissa,

We ran into the same problem. We want to take the Eurostar on July 22, 2005 from London to Paris. I saw this same notice on the website so I sent an email to RailEurope. They told me call 800-782-2424 and they would be able to assist me. So just a couple of days ago I did just that. I was able to obtain two tickets: One second class youth one-way for $75.00 and one 2nd class adult one-way for $150.00. They charged me a $7.00 processing fee and overnight expressed the actual tickets to me. No other charges. I received the tickets the very next day.YEAH! We have seat reservations and seat numbers. So give them a call, they are helpful and friendly. The young man even reviewed my itineary to see if I could benefit from any of the available passes. He agreed with me that point-to-point were the best for our trip. Good luck and have a great trip. Maybe we will see you there :) BabsB

The Eurostar is rarely fully booked, so you should have no problem finding tix 90 days in advance, and the prices should be lower (I pay 70E r/t for my trips to London) than via the 800 number.

You can still book the Varenne and then adjust the dates if necessary on the 16th.

Eurostar only book out tickets 90 days in advance so you would need to wait until 90 days before your return journey date, so that you can book both outward and return journeys at the same time. If you look at the schedule each day you will notice that only one day at a time is added. Don%26#39;t worry, the Eurostar hasn%26#39;t stopped running, and as an earlier poster said, it is very rarely full up (they run very frequently), so you should have no trouble reserving a seat, and remember if you can%26#39;t book a seat for those dates then neither can anyone else ;).
